Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

All Loxtir products come with a 2-year (24-month) limited warranty, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Material or component failures

  • Product malfunctions under normal and intended use

The warranty period begins on the delivery date of your product.

2. What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation or unauthorized modifications

  • Accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear

  • Water or moisture damage (unless the product is IP-certified for outdoor use)

  • Products with tampered serial numbers or opened enclosures

  • Damage caused by power surges, lightning, or natural disasters

3. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, please contact us at đź“§ support@loxtir.com with the following:

  • Your order number

  • Proof of purchase

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or videos, if applicable

Our support team will review your claim and may request the product be returned for inspection. If your claim is approved, we will:

  • Repair the product, or

  • Replace it with the same or an equivalent model, or

  • Offer a full or partial refund, based on product condition and availability

4. Return Shipping for Warranty

  • If your claim is approved and the product is found defective, you are responsible for return shipping within the EU.

  • For claims outside the EU, return shipping costs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Installer or Third-Party Damage

Damage caused by third-party installers or unauthorized technicians is not covered under warranty.

6. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser. Loxtir is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages (e.g., data loss, missed alerts, or property damage)

  • System failures due to external factors such as unstable internet or mobile network issues

7. EU Consumer Rights

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under EU Directive 1999/44/EC or any applicable national consumer protection laws. Depending on your country, you may have additional rights.
